| Update from Greg, Seb and Dean over at the Battle of the Imports. Here's what I know: -The event only allows drag radials as opposed to Greg's normal use of slicks. -Last I heard Saturday he qualified 2nd overall, with no traction. -During said qualifying he was only putting down mid-10s, smoking the tires through the top of the gears. Nitrous set to holeshot only (cutoff after 5k). -This morning he was first out after track prep and bang, 9.30 @ 151mph (1.46 60'). So quick, in fact, they almost disqualified him since he didn't have a parachute (150mph+ rule). Other than Greg, the quickest car out there is a fully factory sponsored trailer-queen Subaru running mid-9s. If he can beat the traction demon he's got a real shot. Either way, I bet they are already thinking about the next event to put the slicks and lighter wheels back on! That's it for now but I'll update if I get anymore news. Oh and Dean says "Make sure you tell them 'em it's still on the stock Z32 motor and transmission!". Roger that, buddy.
